How to identify bullying:

Mean Moment or Teasing:

• Someone is being hurt on purpose
• Isolated event (it does NOT happen regularly)

Conflict:

• No one is having fun - both parties are upset
• There is an equal balance of power

Bullying:

• An intentional physical, social, or emotional attack
• Unequal balance of power
• Happens more than once over a period of time
• The goal if to hurt, harm, or humiliate the other person
